🎉 Join us for the biggest RC event in our club’s history! 🎉
The 2025 Valley RC Flyers 75th Anniversary Fun Fly & Model Airshow is happening August 1–3 at our flying field just east of Kragnes, MN and you’re invited to be part of the action! Pilots are welcome to arrive early to camp and fly all week leading up to the event. (Heads up: we may take a short mowing break to keep the field in top shape.)
This milestone event will feature an awesome lineup of pilots and aircraft and a public airshow on Saturday, August 2 from 12:00–3:00 PM (weather dependent). We encourage all pilots to take part in this exciting demo window and help show the public what our hobby is all about.

…and so many others who stepped up with time, gear, food, and effort!
The airshow portion was electric, with some of the most skilled pilots around showing off their talents and inspiring both new faces and former flyers to take up the hobby.
Many guests said they were motivated to get involved in RC flying—some for the first time, others after years away. That’s a direct result of our welcoming, passionate, and hard-working RC community.
Behind the scenes, our club members and volunteers made it all happen. From maintenance, cleaning, and food planning to parking, bathroom duty, and prize organization—you all went above and beyond. Thank you for pouring your heart into this celebration.
Now we need one more favor:
If you captured photos or videos during the event, please share them on our Facebook group! Many of us were working so hard we didn’t get a chance to document the day—and we’d love to see the event through your eyes.
Below is a photo showing the energy and excitement of the event at its peak—paired with a shot of the now-empty field. It’s a powerful contrast and a reminder of what this community is capable of when we come together.
Here’s to 75 years of RC excellence—and to everything that comes next.
