Pre-registration is now open for the 2026 Fargo Indoor Fun Fly at the Fargo Parks Sports Center.

If you pre-register, it will help us expedite the check-in process, and you will also receive 3 free raffle tickets when you arrive.
We’re expecting a great turnout again this year with fun competitions, flying sessions, prizes, and lots of great aircraft.

FPV Drone Racing (MultiGP: FM Quad Squad)
If you’re into FPV and drone racing, check out FM Quad Squad, our local MultiGP chapter. They’re not affiliated with Valley RC Flyers, but there’s definitely overlap in the “go fast, don’t crash (much)” crowd and a few of our members are involved with both groups. It’s a great place to find race events, meet other FPV pilots, and get plugged into the local scene.

Before you go
A little prep saves a lot of “well…that was a long drive.”

Confirm the latest details. Times, locations, and rules can change—especially for outdoor events. Click through to the host club page or Facebook post the day you plan to go.

Check the weather and field conditions. Wind, temps, and snow cover can shut things down fast. If conditions look sketchy, assume the schedule is “maybe” until you see an update from the host.

Know the flying requirements. Bring your AMA and FAA info (if applicable), follow any site-specific rules, and be ready for a quick safety check or pilot briefing at larger events.

Pack smart. Battery packs/chargers, extension cord, hand warmers, spare props, basic tools, and a chair—because standing in a field for three hours builds character… but not the fun kind.
